Lindsey and Nick chose to get married in her parents beautiful backyard overlooking Batiquitos Lagoon in Carlsbad/La Costa. She and all her girls got ready at a stunning suite in the La Costa Resort, which is where we did her bridal party pictures, as well as a few fabulous bridal portrait shots with the famous terra cotta tile stairs of the resort.

Nick is currently a firefighter, but is also an ex-NFL player (Go Patriots!), so when I told my kids I took the pictures for an NFL players wedding, they were VERY upset that I didnt ask for his autograph for them- haha! I have one son who is a huge patriots fan. Nick is 6’4, and his bride hovers around the 5 foot mark, give or take an inch or two- so one of the highlights of the day for me was when they brought out a stool for her to stand on for their first wedded kiss!!

My OTHER favorite highlight from this wedding has got to be the vintage firetruck that they rode in to arrive to the house, and that we got to use for a few perfect photo ops as the sun went down! Oh, and dont forget to spot the American flag socks on the groom and groomsmen- heck yeah!! Congratulations to Lindsey and Nick, your wedding was absolutely stunning, and so personal and sweet, and I cant wait for you to see my favorite images from the day!!
