My goodness, I have LOVED making these fun ‘sneak peeks’ for wedding films! As Ive been doing more and more wedding cinematography, I am really falling in love with the medium of cinema, and loving how both photo AND video are such important, and VERY different ways to tell your wedding story!
I normally try to post sneak peek pictures within a day or two of the wedding (because, really, who can STAND to wait several weeks for the entire gallery to be complete?!) . But because video is so very different, and the post-processing (editing) time for video is very different than the photo delivery timeline, it is SO HARD to wait the typical 3+ months that it takes for me to compile the full wedding highlight. (just so you know, editing a wedding FILM is like 10x harder than editing the images- holy cow it takes an unreal amount of time- FYI!)
ENTER THE TEASER TRAILER!!! As one of my a la carte options with videography, you can add on a social media teaser trailer! a 30 sec- 1 min super short and FUN teaser film! It is meant to be exactly what it sounds like- a teaser, just to whet your appetite, get to see a tiny bit of the gorgeousness that is yet to come, and hopefully abet your curiosity and give you something to watch while you wait (ever so patiently) for the actual highlight to be completed.
And now to the ACTUAL purpose of this post- to showcase the Social Media Teaser Trailer for Elizabeth and Eric! These two were the most chill, easygoing, bride and groom EVER. Amazing details, a first look at sunset cliffs (one of my fave SD spots for pics!), and a wedding overlooking the San Diego Marina. Now, I only filmed this wedding, I was not hired as the photographer (they has a super awesome family friend shoot- so if you trek over to Paiges INSTAGRAM, I’m sure she will be sharing some delicious images of these two soon!). I can’t wait to start working on their full highlight- but I do have about 5 other gorgeous wedding films coming down the pipeline in the next few weeks!!
